The best of my five books are a mix of novels, short stories, and poetic narratives. I write about people at their most vulnerable: facing toxic attachments, emotional fragility, intense intimacy, gripping drama and the hard choices that define their future.
My stories explore how people navigate in modern society, the pressure of adulthood, and the courage it takes to challenge expectations. They focus on raw emotions, and the quiet moments that force us to confront who we really are.
My work contributes to Kenyan fiction, which explores themes, including the independence struggle, the complexities of life, and the nuanced human experiences—like love, sex, and intimacy—that shape our world.
My stories are often set at the edge of possibility, and serve as lessons and reminders as we all look forward.
